Yesterday we celebrated at Lota de Peniche the investment of SIF – Social Innovation Fund in BITCLIQ, in partnership with Indico Capital Partners and LC Ventures and symbolically welcomed BITCLIQ and its Lota Digital project to SIF’s portfolio.
The moment was marked in the presence of the Secretary of State for Planning, Prof. José Gomes Mendes, the Secretary of State for Fisheries, Dr. José Apolinário, the Board of Directors of PME Investimentos, managing entity of SIF, the President of Docapesca, Dra. Teresa Coelho and the partner entities Portugal Inovação Social, Indico Capital Partners, LC Ventures and Imprensa Nacional Casa da Moeda, among other strategic partners.
During the visit, opportunity also to know the process of landing the fish sold on the high seas via Lota Digital, including the process of quality control to which the fish is subject. The new SMART SCALE precision scale, whose technology was developed by BITCLIQ, was also presented firsthand.
